Indeed, it is true! The renowned and globally recognized Chef Alex has graciously selected me to be his apprentice. Reflecting back, just a year ago, I was content with my role as the designated “wiener steamer” at my local hot dog eating competition. Interestingly, the previous three victors had their hot dogs expertly steamed by none other than myself. Well, that revelation slipped out unexpectedly. Nonetheless, it seems improbable that anyone else will ever lay eyes on this journal chronicling my culinary journey.
